John Dunn Engineering was established in 2008 and is aimed primarily at the heritage rail sector. With over 45 years of relevant experience backed up by a well equipped workshop, we are well placed to give top quality service along with personal care and attention.

The company has been involved with several high-profile locomotive projects, both restorations and new builds, as well as delivering a range of services to clients who require specialist knowledge or equipment which they might not have readily available on-site.

We supply a full machining service and can make parts from drawings or original components. We have access to a range of sub-contractors who are able to provide patterns, castings, specialist welding and many other services.

We offer a drawing service and can produce CAD drawings from either original components or original drawings.
